New monitors are needed to replace ‘retiring’ monitors and for new sites. Monitors go out monthly to a wadable stream and take simple measurements of water quality including dissolved oxygen, temperature, turbidity, flow, habitat and biotic index. It generally takes 3-4 hours, May and November and 2 hours each month, June thru September.
